FAQ
How can I confirm if my signed documents were received?
Welcome Kit / Fingerprint Kit: Due to the high volume of clients, confirming the upload of fingerprints to your file may take up to 4 weeks. If you have a tracking number for your prints, you can use it to verify if we have received them. Our team is working to process them as quickly as possible.
Wet Signature Packet: The estimated arrival time for packages to our office is approximately 2 weeks. Once received, you will receive a text message notifying you that your documents have been registered in our system.
Who can be my interpreter?
Anyone over the age of 14 who can read and understand English can be your interpreter. This includes friends, relatives, coworkers, a Notary Public, except for your spouse or child if you are filing a VAWA application based on them.
How long does it take for the packages to arrive?
In general, the estimated time for this process is 3 to 6 business days, depending on the package type.
What is an interpreter, a beneficiary, and a sponsor?
Interpreter: A person not related to the case or the firm who translates the forms and the declaration sent to the client’s email into the client’s native language.
Beneficiary: This is someone who is a derivative in a VAWA or T Visa case. It may also be the requested person in an I-130 case, but not the main client. These individuals can act as interpreters.
Sponsor: In I-130 cases, the sponsor is the person who provides financial support to the main applicant for the application.

Is it safe to travel on AP/Travel Permit right now?
We do not recommend traveling currently, until we can see how the Trump administration is going to treat travel. When Trump was president last time, he did not affect or try to cancel travel permits. And so far, we haven’t seen any direct signs that the administration plans to change this. But, to be cautious, we recommend not traveling at least until a few months into the new administration. This will give us time to monitor the situation, and learn if there are any cases of people having trouble returning and detect any changes in travel policies. Keep eyes on our social media or our travel guidance website for updates. And if you have a family emergency and need to travel, please know that we can’t eliminate risk and that you should follow the guidelines here for T-Visa or here for VAWA.
