How to Avoid

Potential Deportation

If other attorneys have told you that you must leave the country to fix your immigration status, they are wrong. At Lisinski Law Firm we work very hard to help our clients get papers, including green cards and obtain protection from deportation, without leaving the United States.

Family Based Petitions

One of the most common ways to obtain legal status is through a family member that has residency or citizenship. For example, if your spouse, parent, child, or sibling has documents, depending on what types of documents they have, it may be possible for you to become a resident based on your relationship with that person.

Engagement to a U.S. citizen

If you are a U.S. citizen who is engaged to someone who lives in another country, you may be able to bring your fiancé to the United States through a fiancé visa so that the two of you can get married here in the U.S. and your fiancé can obtain legal permanent residency.

If you were mistreated by a different person, such as a romantic partner, coyote, family member, roommate, or anyone else, regardless of whether that person had documents, you may qualify for documents without leaving the country, depending on the level of mistreatment and other factors.

Medical deferred action

Although there is no specific law that allows legalization based on caring for the sick, in some special situations, immigration officials will exercise their discretion to grant certain documents to undocumented people who are caring for a sick relative, such as a spouse, child, or parent.

Green card after divorce

Turn onto South Potomac St using the continuous turn lane.
Immediately after turning, move into the left lane to prepare for another left turn.
Make a final left turn to enter the parking lot.

Arriving from East Arapahoe Rd (Heading West)

Move into the left turn lane for South Potomac St.
As you position yourself in the lane, you will see the Lisinski Law Firm sign.
Turn onto South Potomac St when the traffic light allows.
Immediately after turning, move into the left lane to prepare for another left turn.
Make a final left turn to enter the parking lot.

Arriving from South Potomac St (Heading North)

Move into the right turn lane.
Turn right, then immediately position yourself to make a left turn.
Make a final left turn to enter the parking lot.

The parking lot is in front of the building, next to the Lisinski Law Firm sign.

How to identify the office?

To enter the building, use the doors on the side, marked with the Lisinski Law Firm and bank logos. Once inside, take the stairs on the left or the elevator on the right to reach the office immediately upon arrival.
