ANGEL’S STORY
I know firsthand how difficult the immigration process can be.
My husband is originally from Costa Rica, and he entered illegally to this country when he was young. We met and fell in love before I was an immigration attorney. We spoke to several attorneys specialized in the area, looking for a solution to get him documents, but all of them told us that because of his immigration history, he couldn’t get documents. They told us to wait for the reform so he could fix his papers. That was 10 years ago and the laws still haven’t changed.
One day, my husband was arrested in front of our little son for no reason (other than being Latino), facing a possible deportation.
At that moment, I realized that we couldn’t wait any longer. I decided to act immediately: I studied immigration laws, personally handled most of his case, and finally won his papers. It wasn’t impossible like others had made us believe — we could have gotten his documents much sooner than we did.
I have felt the pain that immigrant families with irregular status go through. Having lived this experience not only showed me the strength of the immigrant community, but also defined my firm’s mission: to help change as many lives as possible, especially for families with tough cases. That is why I am dedicated to finding solutions for my clients.
If we have the privilege to represent you on your immigration case, I will fight for you as much as I did for my own family. You deserve the peace of mind that having documents brings, and the tranquility to stay with your loved ones within the country. I would be honored to help you to make that happen.
