If you are a native of Cuba or a Cuban citizen, you may qualify to obtain your green card, without leaving the country, and add your family to your case to obtain documents for them as well.

What is the Cuban Adjustment Act?

The Cuban Adjustment Act of 1996 allows certain Cuban nationals or Cuban citizens who meet certain eligibility requirements to apply for lawful permanent residency (green card).

How to apply for the Cuban Adjustment Act?

The applicant must comply, among others, with the following requirements:

  • Native or Citizen of Cuba.

  • Admitted or paroled after January 1, of 1959

  • Physically present in the United States for at least one year at the time of filling for Adjustment of Status.

  • Physically present in the United States at the time of filling for Adjustment of Status.
